Quite old a small joint in Parle Tilak school back premises, quite famous amongst locals. Been there since years and it was a pleasant surprise of it being listed on trip advisor! Economically priced, enjoy the staple Mumbai food for a genuine taste.
If you want to taste authentic mumbaiyaa vadapav, this is the right place! This is the most crowded place in the evening, on a busy hanuman road. Apart from vadapav, they provide awesome pattice and samosas. A must try place!
I used to work at Andheri, after long time i just visited this place named babu vad pav. I ordered a vada pav and after having a big bite it just felt the same taste which it used to be earlier. The garlic chutney made it more delightful.
Babu vada pav is a street vendor with a small shop near Vile Parle East Station. They are very well known for Mumbai street food like Vada pav, Samosa, Bhajji. They have won the award for one of the best vada pavs in Mumbai in the annual completion organized under the banner Shiv Vada. Must try this spicy and delicious food if one has to enjoy real Mumbai street food. There is no place to sit. One has to either take away parcel or eat outside the shop on the street !
babu vadapav is only know for vadapav and his chutney also there samosa are good but if i compare this vadapav to anand vadapav near mithibai and kirti collge vadapav so i dnt vote for babu vadapav. thanx. aniket Ghuge.
