Mr. Baburao Sitaprao

Mr. Baburao Sitaprao is the founder of the Brand named Babu Vada Pav. He is 70 years old now originally belonged to the Konkan. He came to Mumbai when he was just 12 years old and started his journey from working as a table boy in Jeevan Restaurant, Vile Parle East, later on he assisted to Mr. Joglekar through taking responsibilities of Canteen located in Parle Tilak Vidhyalaya. Later on, Mr. Joglekar handed over the canteen to Mr. Babu after observing his dedication, loyalty, and bound with school children.

He started his journey in 1960 when a single Batata Wada used to cost 6 paisas and no Pav was provided at the time. Since then till now, Babu Vada Pav has remained a well recognized brand in Vile Parle and around the suburb. Babu Vada Pav has become one such a name hearing which your mouth starts watering

Vinesh Sitaprao

Mr. Baburao Sitaprao’s son, Vinesh Sitaprao, closely observed the hard work of his father. He was overwhelmed with the love offered to his father by the society. This inspired him to respect for this business legacy and join this business. He took the responsibility of the brand with the mission to spread it across the Mumbai along with the outskirts of the Mumbai. He first launched an outlet at Parle Tilak Vidhyalaya, which leads to second outlet launched near Vile Parle East. Mr. Vinesh has given new direction to the business of his father due to which it is becoming more and more popular day by day. He has also opened 3 outlets in Jogeshwari (E) and Andheri (E).

He gets daily a number of inquiries for obtaining franchise. But he does not respond quickly because he strictly wants high quality maintenance of the authentic food products. They have also made all the preparations for opening Khopoli outlet which was highly demanded by the travelers on that route. Besides, they also have a plan to launch one more outlet in Colaba as well in coming days.
